Envisioning a New Future for Waste in Boston

Join us to kick off Circular Cities Week Boston 2024 with a panel discussion that explores what the circular economy means for Boston. Hear from small businesses, start-ups, nonprofits, and industry partners on their unique circular solutions, the role they plan in this ecosystem, and what circular economy means for them in this city.

Day 1: Defining Circularity

October 29th 6pm-8:30pm

Legislation, Advocacy, and Incentives

From organizational change management‘’ to tax credits, there are many ways to insight change from your organization, municipality, and legislature. Hear from Circular Economy Week Boston’s keynote speaker, and learn ways to leverage existing opportunities for Boston’s circular economy. Ask questions, be heard, and learn avenues for successful impact.

Day 2: Driving Circularity

October 30th 6pm-8:30pm

Organic Cycles, Nature, and Biomimcry

On Day 3 of Circular Cities Week, we will explore nature and organic cycles. The Mass Audubon’s Nature Center and Wildlife Sanctuary team will provide a tour of their facilities, showing various initiatives they have taken to increase the sustainability of their facility while working in partnership with nature. The tour will be followed by a panel discussion on nature and the circular economy.

Day 3: Displaying Circularity

November 2nd 1pm-6pm

The Wicked Circular Market

On the last day of Circular Cities Week we will be hosting a local vendor market featuring zero waste and circular solutions. Stop by to get holiday shopping done early, get your shoes repaired, and learn about how organizations across the region are contributing to the circular economy. Complete with a halloween costume repair, costume swap, and candy recycling stations the Wicked Circular Market is sure to delight halloween weekend goers and circular economy professionals alike.
